day 1 (Yangon Arrival)

Arrive Yangon with the morning Flight. Meet at the Airport by our English speaking guide who will bring you to the Hotel and show you the highlights of Yangon. The center of Yangon, Sule Pagoda, walk down to Yangon River to see the busy harbor area. Under shady trees, stop alongside Kandawgyi Lake to take photographs over the Lake towards Shwedagon. Visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image. Enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, famous world wide - its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Buddhist Myanmar. Overnight Yangon.

day 2 (Yangon - Mandalay)

Morning flight to Mandalay. Our Local guide and car will pick you up at the airport. After check in hotel, sightseeing in Mandalay Palace then take a drive to Shwe Kyaung (Golden Monastery), Kuthodaw(Merit) Pagoda where huge stone inscriptions are erected and noted to be the largest book in the world. Browse the "Zay Cho" (meaning fair price) Supermarke art downtown Mandalay where all commodities either local products from all parts of the country as well as Indian and Chinese products are available. Climb the Mandalay Hill, from atop the hill overlooking the mighty Ayarwaddy River and the Sagaing Hills with white and golden stupas dotting galore. In the evening, drive to Amarapura, famous for Traditional Silk and Cotton weaving processes and bronze casting. Then a brief stop at the Taung thaman Lake where the 1.2 Km long all teak bridge span across the lake during the mid 19th century.
Overnight Mandalay.

day 3 ( Mandalay-Bagan )

A pleasant cruise downstream about 10 hours, will take you to Bagan in the morning. Meet by local tour guide at the jetty in the evening and check in at Hotel. Overnight Bagan.

day 4 ( Bagan )

Like Somerset Maugham had noted…. Bagan and its pagodas, “loom, huge, remote and mysterious …… like the vague collection of fantastic dream.”
After browsing the Nyaung Oo Market, visit the nearby golden domed Shwezigon Pagoda, one of the four in Bagan where Buddha’s tooth relic is believed to be enshrined there. Our guide will lead you to Dhammanyangyi, most famous because of the most massive temple in Bagan.
Then proceed to Wethtikan Gubyaukgyi and Htilominlo Temples. “Cos of the scorching heat these will be done in a car. After that drop in at Ananda Temple built by King Kyansitthar in 1090 protraying the ancient architecture and jataka tales of Buddha’s life on glazed plaques.
Among the four Buddah Images Standing 32 feet tall, two on the north and south are originals but the other two are replacements as originals were destroyed by fire or theft. See the lacquer ware workshops and Buphaya on the banks of the mightly Ayarwaddy river.
Pyathatgyi, also known as Pyathadargyi is the most suitable place to watch the sunset from the upper terrace.

day 5 ( Bagan - Heho - Inle )

Transfer from Hotel to Airport and flight to Inle in the morning. Guide and car will accept at the Heho Airport and will transfer to Nyaung shwe, a town regarded as the Gateway to the Inle Lake. After a brief rest, excursion on the lake by boats. A rare opportunity to come across the natives rowing the boats with one leg wrapped around the oar. Gold and Silversmith workshops at Ywama village, floating market, cheroot making at Nan Pan Village and continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. In the afternoon, visit weaving centers, floating garden and the "Jumping Cat Monastery". Overnight Inle

day 6 ( Inle - Indein )

After breakfast, a boat ride to the village Indaing on the opposite side of the lake, with Pagodas of over 1000 stupas, some of them 11th century remains. It is a beautiful boat ride along the canal into Indaing and along the stairs up to the Pagoda we pass interesting trade stalls. Overnight Inle.

day 7 ( Inle - Heho - Yangon )

Transfer to Airport to take a morning flight to Yangon. After check in hotel, Strolling in the downtown area and visit the Scott market also known as Bogyoke Market. Handicrafts, fabrics, wood carvings, paintings, souvenirs will be available there. A drive further to World Peace Pagoda and a drive around the Mahapasana Cave where the Buddhist Scriptures were chanted as the sixth time in the World in the early ‘50’s.
In the evening, visit China Town area where food and vendors can be found. Overnight Yangon.

day 8(Yangon - Departure )

Car and guide will pick you up at the Hotel and transfer you to Yangon International Airport for Yangon Departure
