DAY -1 YANGON ARRIVAL

Yangon with the morning Flight. Meet at the Airport by our guide who will bring you to the Hotel and show you the highlights of Yangon. At the center of Yangon, visit Sule Pagoda and see the Colonial buildings in the vicinity. Under shady trees, stop alongside Kandawgyi Lake to take photographs over the Lake towards Shwedagon. Visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image. Enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, famous world wide - its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Buddhist Myanmar. Overnight Yangon.

day 2 (Yangon - Mawlamyine)

Proceed to Mawlamyine. Mawlamyine can be reached by car from Yangon, take approximately seven hours to reach there. A pleasant Strand road is a serene place to stroll watching the colonial buildings alongside the river and it is famous for its markets and seafood. Being the 3rd largest city, it's also remarkable for the publishing of the 1st English Newspaper "The Moulmain Chronicle". Overnight Mawlamyine.

day 3 (Mawlamyine - Kyaik-Kha-Mi - Thanbyuzayat - Sat Sae)

The city is located at the mouth of the Thanlwin River and its focal point is the Kyaik Than Lan Pagoda, you can enjoy the great views of the surrounding area. A drive to small coastal area, Kyaikkami Yeylel Pagoda constructed on the sea and Sat Sae Beach. Stopping at Win Sein Tawya, near Mudon, where the largest reclining Buddha in the world is under construction. You will proceed to Thanbyuzayat located about 64km south of Mawlamyaing, which literally mean ‘A shed of tin sheet’, is named after a structure which existed when it was the western terminus of the Death Railway Track built by POW's of the Japanese during World War Two.... Thousands of Allied POW as well as Myanmar and other Asians lost their lives building the railway, which had its eastern terminus at Kanchanaburi in Thailand. Thanbyuzayat symbolized the horrors of war and has a cemetery under the care of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The Death Railway Museum provides some historical context with photos, paintings and sculptures documenting the building of the railway. Then proceed to Sat Sae beach and drive back to Mawlamyine in the evening. Overnight Mawlamyine.

day 4 (Kyaikhtiyo-Bago-Yangon )

On the way back to Yangon in the morning, visit Bago to see the pottery and the famous reclining Buddha Image. The archaeological site of an old excavated palace site is also one of the tourist attraction sites.Hintha Hill is a prominenet site where Spiritual Dances can be seen especially at weekends. Can also browse the Bago market and after coming back to Yangon, spend night Yangon.

day 5 (Hpa-An - Kyaikhtiyo )

In the morning, drive to Kyaikhtiyo (App: 5 Hrs drive). Believed to enshrine a hair relic of Buddha, the spire of 18 feet is set atop a huge boulder where the latter is balanced on the edge of a cliff. A steep winding uphill path welcomes the pilgrims with a mocking challenge. Hotel accommodations can be arranged near the Pagoda Terrace.Overnight Mountain Top Hotel.

day 6( Kyaikhtiyo-Bago-Yangon )

On the way back to Yangon in the morning, visit Bago to see the pottery and the famous reclining Buddha Image. day 7 (Yangon Departure)

Car and guide will pick you up at the Hotel and transfer you to Yangon International Airport for Yangon Departure.
